Smiles R Beautiful is being built to give children who've lived through trauma a gentle, dignified path toward emotional wellbeing — at no cost to their families.
Our mission
We believe healing should never carry a price tag — especially for a child.
Smiles R Beautiful is working to become a registered nonprofit dedicated to supporting children who have experienced trauma. Our goal is simple: help children regain a sense of safety and calm, regardless of their family's income, background, culture, or beliefs. We're building this organization so that no parent ever has to choose between their child's emotional wellbeing and their ability to pay for it.
Our approach
Gentle by design
We're developing a model of care built around comfort, consent, and calm — with families involved every step of the way.
Non-invasive
No needles, no procedures that cause pain. Children rest comfortably throughout, and are never left alone with anyone unfamiliar.
Free for children
Once we open our doors, treatment for children will cost families nothing. We're pursuing donor and partner support to make that possible.
Parents present
Families are welcome to observe the entire process. There's nothing hidden from the people who know and love the child best.

Three decades in the making
Michael
Founder & Director
For more than thirty years, Michael studied under some of the earliest people working in trauma-informed psychophysiology, learning directly from those who helped shape the field. That work shaped a simple conviction: healing from trauma shouldn't be slow, painful, or reserved for families who can afford it.
When his mentor passed away, Michael made it his mission to carry that knowledge forward — not to hold onto it, but to give it away. Smiles R Beautiful is the result of that commitment: a way to make gentle, judgment-free care available to any child who needs it.
Where we stand
An early-stage effort, built in the open
Smiles R Beautiful has not yet been registered as a nonprofit organization. We are currently in the planning and development phase — building our model of care, forming partnerships, and preparing for formal registration.
